Safety & Health
An organisation’s safety culture is often described in terms of its approach to safety, and embodying "the attitudes, beliefs, perceptions and values that employees share in relation to safety.” There is a body of agreement that a safety culture is required, but often it seems to be based on values and beliefs, or on end results such as injury reduction targets. The missing ingredient is how to best fulfill those values and achieve targeted reductions.
A well-designed and run Safety and Health programme benefit organizations by decreasing risk of worker harm, motivating employees, and building better relationships with workers and the community at large. Moreover, safe operations usually save money.
TACK’s safety and health workshop is beyond a technical workshop. It is designed to reignite the passion and awareness for safety and health starting with its leaders and engaging the hearts and mind to live the safety values.
